CONSULTING PROJECTS

♦ ORTHOPEDIC BRACE MARKET RESEARCH
We conducted a thorough 235-page market study and entry strategy that included sales management recommendations for non-capital equipment sold to orthopedic and rehabilitation customers. Included in this study were extensive interviews within the Chinese orthopedic community, attendance at two trade shows and use of outside, industry specific consultants. With our recommendations, our client is striding ahead and has retained 889 Global for ongoing implementation of their strategy.

♦ PRESSURE SENSORS SALES CHANNEL 
889 Global conducted a highly focused assessment on the current China business strategy for a leading pressure transducer and load cell manufacturer. This included an extensive three-week series of interviews across China with existing and potential sales channel partners and customers. The client is now moving ahead with our recommendations, and follow-up engagements have ensued.

♦ COLUMBUS ZOO SISTER RELATIONSHIP
889 Global is playing the lead role in coordinating animal, veterinary And educational exchanges between the Columbus Zoo and Tianjin Zoo. We have advised, introduced and obtained senior management commitment from each zoo, arranged travel and meeting agendas, facilitating all communication.

♦ CHINESE INVESTOR IN RICKENBACKER
Rickenbacker Port Authority has retained 889 Global for due diligence, negotiation, translation and advisory work on assessing Chinese direct investment into the Rickenbacker Multimodel Cargo Airport and Foreign Trade Zone area in Central Ohio. Several strong candidates were located and now assessing logistics and warehousing relationships between Columbus, Ohio and Beijing or Shanghai, China.

♦ REGISTERING A REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE IN DONG GUAN
Franklin International has retained 889 Global to set up a rep office in Dong Guan, which is where their industrial adhesive has been selling the most in China. 889 will help locate office space, register with the various departments of Tax Bureau, MOFTEC, Registration Bureau and FESCO. 

♦ AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINES
The objective of this project was to assist a local company that provides parts and service for ATM machines in obtaining a continual supply of quality parts from a Chinese manufacturer, both for established production parts and samples for new parts. We conducted a technical analysis of the Chinese manufacturing plant and made recommendations to assist with reestablishing communication, minimizing new part development time, overcome delivery issues and reestablish a flow of time shipments to the ATM machine company.

♦ INVESTIGATIVE MARKET RESEARCH PARTNERSHIP AND NEGOTIATION
889 Global Solutions completed a thorough market research of 10 companies thru the use of private investigation with our local contacts and resources in China within the rubber manufacturing industry. The study reveals information on the inner workings of several Chinese competitors whom competed directly or indirectly our client.
